On the one side there is a very traditional almost mosaic like printed sari that had beautiful streams of yellowand fuchsia pink kantha stitching running along it. The end white threads are extended to create corner tassels.

The reverse side of this quilt has intricate hand embroidery borders and enlarged kantha stitches along the border to form adiamond shape patternthat is often seen in traditional kantha quilts.
